Gregory S. Menegaz has been practicing international trade and customs law since 1992, and entered private practice in 1994 after completing a two-year clerkship at the U.S. Court of International Trade, where he focused on trade and customs matters. Mr. Menegaz advises both domestic and foreign companies, as well as governments, on a wide range of international trade litigation and regulatory issues, including trade remedies, antidumping, countervailing duty law, customs, sanctions, and compliance counseling. He has defended companies against antidumping investigations and reviews conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Additionally, he has represented numerous clients before the Court of International Trade and appellate courts in trade matters. Mr. Menegaz also provides guidance to U.S. importers and their suppliers on U.S. customs law, covering aspects such as classification, valuation, country-of-origin marking, penalties, and seizure cases. He has assisted clients with customs compliance audits as well. His practice has a global reach, spanning the United States, Europe, South America, India, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. His clients often include industry leaders in diverse fields such as chemicals, steel, and wood products (including plywood, flooring, molding, and cabinets/vanities).

A graduate of New York University Law School (J.D., 1992), Mr. Menegaz also holds an M.A. in French Studies from New York University and a B.A., magna cum laude, from St. Lawrence University. He is fluent in French. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Menegaz served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Kenton Musgrave at the United States Court of International Trade from 1992 to 1994. He is a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
